Description:

1964 Corvette F/I 327/375, Muncie 4 speed. Numbers Matching, correct dates, all original car. Car is driver quality, survivor, I wanted one to drive and enjoy, not a trailer queen. I have owned the car for about 13 years. It was delivered to Moore Chevrolet in Elizabeth NJ, in late 1963, Build date was Oct 28, 1963. I have tried to research as much as possible, and unable to find very much history. I do know that the car spent a considerable amount of time in Arizona. It appears to me that the car had a paint job probably about 25 years ago, with the correct original color. The interior is all original. It had a complete suspension rebuild in 2004. I replaced all 4 wiring harnesses in 2014. It has 1967 rally wheels, and I do have the original wheels, tires, and hubcaps, and also some extra parts for it. I have kept any of the old parts that I have replaced. I had the engine totally refreshed in 2014. Rochester fuel injection rebuilt by Jack Podell in 2014. Distributor was rebuilt by John DeGregory. Every part that I have looked at on the car is the correct part # and date. I had the headlight motors rebuilt in S Carolina. Car has the original radiator and does not leak ( I had it tested). I had the bumpers rechromed in 2017. 4 brand new tires in 2025. The speedometer reads 47,500 miles and is not working. It has the original glass. The convertible top was replaced about 20 years ago. I installed new weatherstripping in 2016. Has a GM jack, not sure if it is the original. The body appears to have all of the correct bonding strips. The body is not perfect, but the are no major issues. Seat foam and seat covers replaced about 10 years ago. Everything works, including the clock and the radio, except for the mileage meter. Radio works, but needs to be restored. The car drives and rides great. Probably has not been driven more than 1,000 miles since I have owned it, driven to a few local shows and just pleasure rides near to home.
