This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe is a great combination of beauty and power. At car shows I get many compliments on the Deep Cranberry Pearl paint job. The professionally built engine will make a muscle car lover drool. The car has clean California title. Features include: Power steering, Power brakes. Front disc brakes, Line lock, Power windows, Factory 14" Super Stock II sport wheels with Goodyear Eagle ST tires, AutoMeter tachometer, Bucket seats, Center console with Hurst Dual Gate shifter, Dual hood scoops. The car has push button AM-FM radio but currently has no speakers.
In 1998 the car underwent a frame off restoration. The car body work and paint was done by a well respected local body shop which specialized in classic cars. The car is always garaged.
In 2003 I had a 455 CID Olds engine professionally built by TEM Machine Shop in Napa, CA. The engine builder, Rich Oliver, was a student of Joe Mondello. The invoice for that build is included in the photo gallery. The engine components were magnafluxed. The connecting rods were peen shot. The engine was balanced. Engine components include 12.0 compression Probe forged pistons, Engle camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Demon 800 CFM carb. The car also has Hooker Competition headers, Magnaflow exhaust system, High torque mini starter, and a brand new MSD digital electronic ignition. Although the engine was built approx 20 years ago it has fewer than 2000 miles on it as the car is rarely driven.
The transmission is a TH400. The tranny was prepared by and installed by Mondello Performance Products of Paso Robles, CA. in 2015. Mondello's is the go to place for Olds performance parts. The tranny has heavy duty clutches and heavy duty flex plate. These carry a Mondello lifetime parts warranty. The rear end is a 3.23 ratio positraction.
The engine oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid have all been changed within the last 100 miles.
