This Mustang is one of a kind and a great driver.
The body was restored about 15 years ago and was done right. Prior to restoration it was completely solid, the undercarriage almost perfect condition, and just needed freshening up. The last time it was driven in winter was 1988. The paint is in excellent condition.
It has an amazing powertrain. The engine is a Ford Racing Performance 302 crate motor, cam, head work, and a Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. It has an MSD 6AL ignition, custom headers, a 5-speed cobra transmission, and CalTracs racing suspension. It has been converted from drum brakes to disc and drives amazing. In 5th gear it only tacks out at 2300 rpms at 70 mph. The interior has been converted from vinyl to double stitched Italian leather, new carpet, new insulation, new wiring, and stainless-steel dash trim. All the gauges are upgraded to Carbon Fiber Ultra-Lite Auto Meter gauges including tack, speedometer, water temp, oil pressure, volts, and fuel gauge. The powertrain only has 3,240 miles since the build as of today. This car is a great driver, a real eye turner, and very fun to drive. The asking price is around half the cost it would take to duplicate.
