I bought this Z from Lima Nissan in 1994. It had 60,000 miles. They leased it to 2 people over 5 years.
February 11, 2025 I was rear ended at a stoplight. Autobahn of Wapak did a great job of repairing.
New oil pressure sender. New power steering lines pressure and return . new power steering pump. new driveshaft. new alternator, new shocks and upper strut mount. resealed oil pan. new oil pump. New camshaft seals. New water pump and timing belt. New rear wheel bearings. New rear CV axles. Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. New muffler, new rear subframe bushings. new rear differential mount, new clutch and pressure plate, flywheel resurfaced, new bearings, and rear axles. Shim to spec.
Noise sometimes heard from the rear of car between shifts is caused by play in the axle gears when power comes on off. Nissan calls them for pinion gears. The gears are worn down and have play. Rebuilt transmission 10years ago, 22 mpg.
