This BMW 3.0 CS Automatic was first registered on 16-12-1971 was delivered in the color Polaris Metallic (060) with a Blue interior. A great color combination together with the tinte windows (optional) and the great original wheels. This is an honest 102,000 kilometer (63k Miles) car.
This CS was sold in 1971 to a bookshop-owner, an elderly woman who bought it as her last new car. The car was driven up to the 1980's and was then parked. Documentation and the old german title come with the car. After being parked for a long this car was bought by a BMW collector. He had brought the car to a known German BMW E9 Specialist to have the car restored. the car was restored to a beautiful condition. The body has been completely dismantled and repaired where necessary. After that the car has been repainted completely and professionally. Windows out, all trim off, repainted engine bay as well. After the glorious paint job that resulted in a very straight body with proper shutlines the car was rebuilt with lots of new parts, chrome, trim, rubbers. All rubber parts have been replaced, the chrome is all in a great condition. This car makes a like new impression with new headlights and emblems. The interior is still very original. The door panels, carpets, headliner are all the ones from 1971 and in a great condition. The 4 seats have been redone in blue leather. This has been done properly and with attention to detail. Wood, leather and German-style carpets: a real 70's German Coupe. And it feels and smells great. This 3.0 CS with Automatic gearbox drives beautifully. A torqy straight six with a silky smooth automatic. Sporty and Luxury! The matching engine runs beautiful and is the original 63K miles engine to this car. This CS has been tested and proven. Trips from over 3,000 Miles have been no problem for this beautiful Bavarian Coupe. The braking system and the suspension has been replaced too during the restoration.
