I am the third owner of this truck. I purchased it Sept of 2018 from a gentleman in Idaho. He had just got married and his wife thought he needed to sell the truck and enjoy his new wife!! My brother-in-law is an excellent remodeler of these old vehicles and he said he would do this one. It took him over 2 years and with a helper he got the truck done. Ford built these trucks and they had flat beds like the one we put together. Purchased some red wood cedar in Okla and that is what the siding was built. The amazing thing that my brother -in-law found out that Ford built a few of these trucks with steel that wraps around the bed and it also works to hold the spare tire. He told me Henry Ford only made them for about 6 months for this model. The truck runs excellent and i maybe hav around 50 miles on it. Everything from the motor on was redone. It has new pistons and babbit bearing. He did put a horn and turning lights on it, but that is all. Everything is pure stock! Awesome truck which I have driven most of my life.
